The “Osho Mystic Rose“ is a Meditative Therapy, combining therapy with meditation – the ancient East meeting the modern West, making meditation suitable for the contemporary man.

This is a powerful and unique transformation process, lasting 3 weeks, for 3 hours daily.

The first week is dedicated to laughter.
This laughing can free us from all kinds of inhibitions of the past. Our seriousness dissolves, which allows the childlike qualities to fill our lives with joy again. A sense of humour awakens and helps us to cooperate with all kind of situations of life, also the difficult ones. In this week we are making friends with each other in a totally new way, without talking, just laughing together, playing, melting…

In the second week we dive into deeper layers. Sadness, despair, agonies and sufferings of many lives are welcome to surface and so heal with our tears, with expressing and crying and in the light of our awareness. Tears are the language of the heart. In this safe and loving atmosphere old wounds are healing and the heart can open. We feel love and compassion for ourselves and others.

In the third week – after the cleansing and expressing of the two previous weeks – entering into silence and meditation will be much easier. We become “the watcher on the hills”, from there we are able to observe our mind and our emotions with a little distance. The silent sittings are interwoven with periods of dance to heartful music.

This process was created by Osho, he says:

“All this world needs is a good cleansing of the heart of all the inhibitions of the past. Laughter and tears can do both. Tears will take out all the agony that is hidden inside you and laughter will take all that is preventing your ecstasy.

The mystic rose became a symbol of the man whose being is dormant no more, is asleep no more,
but is fully awake
and has opened all its petals
and has become sensitive to all
that is truthful, beautiful, good –
the very splendor of existence.”

The Osho Shangri-La Meditation Center provides an ideal space for the Mystic Rose. Here we are surrounded by beautiful nature that supports the healing process.

Practical information:

Each day we share some work for 1 hour in a meditative way which helps us to integrate the experience and also gives us a beautiful opportunity to have a taste of living in a community. We can learn a lot with and from each other!

We offer also a limited number of places for people, who would commit for 2 hours work meditation per day for a discount in price. Please contact us, if you are interested.

The accommodation in basic price is a bigger room with more people sleeping. Please take a sleeping bag with you (mattrace and pillow are there). If you would like a private room, you can book it for extra cost per night (blankets, towels, pillows are provided there).

Bring also some comfortable cloths for active meditations, walking outside, sitting in the garden. (Maybe even blanket, mat to sit outside and listen to Osho).

For our recreation and free time there are also many possibilities:
The Shangri-La center offers a sauna. We will have daily meditations like Dynamic and Kundalini and listening to Osho-talks.

Close by there are pretty lakes for swimming and the nature invites and us to just relaxe. Together we can create events for the evenings.

Commentaries of Participants

Susanne:
The mystic rose in Shangri La was one of the most important things I ever did for myself.

Prapati:
In Mystic Rose it is very easy for me to disconnect from my mind, from never-ending judging myself and others. Laughter opened a flow of joy, of life-energy and love for all beings. Crying took me back to some difficult moments from the past which were emotionally still unfinished. It was very painful but in the end very relieving. To sit in silence was both, beautiful and difficult. My mind didn’t want to give up being the boss. The moments when the mind calmed down and gave space for just being were very strong and undescribable.

Almasta:
What I like about the Mystic Rose is this adventurous exploring of unknown spaces inside. Like a sailor, with companions in the same boat and yet alone.

Tameer:
The most beautiful experience for me in Mystic Rose was that we would cry together - not as usually alone “under the blanket”. In this togetherness a space opened up where I felt totally safe and secure. To share the suffering – not talking about it, was very precious for me.

Zia:
Most I feel the Mystic Rose in my body. It gets loose and slow… the movements become soft - connecting to the feeling of calmness in my belly. The eyes find their clarity and are not so shy anymore - feeling the space of my heart behind them. I stand more alone, more by myself and at the same time I am here more for the others.

Man is born as a seed…

The ultimate growth is symbolized as the mystic rose. When your being blossoms and opens all its petals and releases the beautiful fragrance.
