Ganga

I was born in Germany in the fifties and did what I was supposed to do – studied at the university and got married. I graduated with an MA in psychology at the University of Heidelberg in 1971.

ganga cordingI trained in Rogerian psychotherapy and psychoanalytic group therapy and specialized in clinical psychology. 1972 I spent in the East, accompanying an international research project. I started to meditate in the Vipassana tradition with Achan Sassanadara in Thailand.

At the age of 28 I hit rockbottom and started to question everything, which led me to the Human Growth Movement in Germany and England and eventually to the first Enlightenment Intensive. It changed my life. The fire for the inner search was lit and brought me directly to the Indian Mystic Osho, who’s disciple I am since 1975. I lived and worked in his communes for 25 years.

As a member of the Osho Multiversity I was leading Awareness Intensives since 1977. After training in Meditative Therapies I facilitated the Mystic Rose as well as Meditation Retreats (Vipassana, Zazen, Kyol Che) and created the Senses of Meditation Retreat.

Nowadays I lead Satori and other Meditation Retreats worldwide. I like working with others and enjoy co-leading retreats with others since it allows me not only to faciltate but also to participate in it as well as supervising trainees. I am Senior of the Awareness Intensive Institute and lead Awareness Intensives trainings since 2002.

In 2007 I founded the Academy of Awareness and Creative Expression. It is the harvest of the work and rich life experiences I had so far – the learning, loving and living continues.

My secret passion is Chinese Calligraphy which Master Qiu Zeng Ping awakened in me 10 years ago. I live in Germany and Corfu, Greece tending the gardens and if there is really nothing else to do I watch the grass grow.
