Celebration of Silence
Silent sitting retreat with New Years Celebration
Vipassana is Buddhas meditation. You sit silently, and watch: thoughts. feelings, body sensations, sounds around, your breath, whatever. By watching what your mind notices or creates you get distance from the mind. You neither cling, nor you reject, you neither drift to the past nor to the future. You start to relax into the flow of the now, going beyond attachment and rejection. You arrive in the now. You become the watcher.
Sitting alternates with walking. And everybody will be in silence, meaning no talking, contact or media.
To make sure your body has enough movement and relaxation we will have morning and evening meditations with movements, like Osho Chakra breathing and Kundalini, and one trance per day.
On New Years eve we add some soft dancing instead of the walking, and some rituals into the structure of the silent sitting retreat.
You can choose to come for all three days or just the last day of Celebration.
Looking forward to celebrate silence together with you.
